Short Term Mission Team 2005

Wednesday, August 10th
We visited Faith Academy and had the privilege of leading the chapel for the middle schoolers (grades 6, 7, and 8th).  I know the team was blessed to see so many kids representing missionary families in asia.  One of the things that makes this school unique (besides the fact that nearly all of the 900 students are missionary kids), is the fact that ALL OF THE TEACHERS are also MISSIONARIES themselves.  Patrick and the girls lead worship while Jonathan Colaco managed the powerpoint songs, and Matt Long acted as the sound technician.

It was a great time of chapel.  The best part of our time there was seeing how God was clearly sustaining our team.  Some of our team members were not feeling so great that day; included among them were Patrick (who was going to give the message) and Sabrina (who was to share her testimony).  Each was worried they might get sick while they on the stage, yet God protected them and what each shared was just excellent!

That afternoon we split our team  up; half was to go to Resources for the Blind, while the other half to a youth jam/outreach at Rosario Christian Fellowship.  Included in these pictures are Faith Academy and Resources for the Blind.  The Rosario Christian Fellowship pictures may follow later (i was on the resources for the Blind team so I don't have any pics from RCF Yet).
